Song of the Month: August 2022

I miss the defunct podcast Pop Rocket, hosted by comedian-writer Guy Branum, during which a segment was dedicated to panelists answering the question, "What's your current jam?" As a listener, I'd always have an answer, and right now, I wish I could be a guest and declare that it's "Body Language" by Dreamers. 

It's an end-of-summer track that smoothly rides the melancholic synth-rock wave, accompanied by the mesmerizing vocals of lead singer Nick Wold. As for the music video? It's a VR-themed piece, accentuated with plenty of moody neon lighting and compelling choreography, giving it a Blade Runner-esque feel.
